DRA Summer School

The summer school takes place 29-30 August 2024 at Pharmakon, Hillerød. The course is a mandatory part of the curriculum for PhD students affiliated with the graduate programme in pharmaceutical sciences, Drug Research Academy (DRA).

DRA supervisors and DRA scholars are also invited to participate in the DRA summer school.

This year's guest speakers are:

  • PhD Maria Klibo Lie, Senior Scientist, Novo Nordisk
  • PhD Christoffer Clemmensen, Associate Professor, University of Copenhagen

The summer school is a mixture of PhD students’ presentations and plenary lectures:
Presentation of DRA PhD students’ projects: 3rd year PhD students will present their projects orally and 2nd year PhD students will present their projects on posters.

Plenary keynote speakers will give a lecture on broad topics relevant to PhD students in pharmaceutical sciences.

A committee of DRA supervisors will review the oral presentations. 3rd year PhD students will review the posters. Prizes to best oral presentations and best poster will be granted.

We will organize bus transport from Universitetsparken 2, 2100 Copenhagen Thursday morning and return Friday afternoon.

  2. Choose programme participation before 1 July 2024 - sign up via direct invitation
  3. 2nd and 3rd year PhD students have to make an abstract (Link to abstract template) of the work presented at the summer school
