Hot Topics in Chemical Biology

DRA symposium

Chemical biology, the manipulation of biological systems using the products of synthetic chemistry, is a fast moving, constantly expanding field. Drug discovery has been particularly influenced by progress in chemical biology. We have attracted highly recognized speakers for an exciting symposium on the topic of chemical biology and drug discovery, Fan Liu (FMP-Berlin) offering state of the art proteomics, Tim Jenkins (DTU) will update us on AI-powered protein design, Stefan Vogel (KU) will describe novel nucleic acids oligos and their complexes with custom lipid membranes, and Paramjit Arora (NYU) leader in proteomimetics to inhibit protein-protein interactions.

Closing of the DRA symposium

The symposium is organized on behalf of the graduate programme in pharmaceutical sciences, Drug Research Academy, by Prof. Kristian Strømgaard, Prof. Stephan Pless and Assoc. Prof. Joseph Rogers, Department of Drug Design and Pharmacology, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen.

The symposium is free of charge and open for attendance by all interested parties. It is not necessary to pre-register.
