30 January 2024 13:00-16:00, BRIC: Ole Maaløesvej 5, 2200 Copenhagen
The aim of the event is to provide an overview of non-academic career possibilities as well as introducing the companies to the young talents.
Career Day is a 3-hour event that begins with the companies briefly presenting themselves, followed by a fair, where young researchers (PhD/PostDoc) and companies can meet and network.
Companies are not required to bring job adverts to the Career Day or to be recruiting specific profiles at the time of the event.

Preliminary programme
Workshop
1 hour workshop with Stephan Bouman, Head of Project Portfolio Management, Medicon Valley Alliance.
Title: How to transition into a career beyond academia.
The workshop will address topics such as life science careers, the academic vs the private sector and their differences in workstyles, types of companies and jobs, transitioning and transferable skills, how to network and contact companies, and the corporate application and recruitment process.
Location: Seminar Room, 2nd floor, Ole Maaløes Vej 5, 2200 CPH N
The workshop is limited to 50 participants.
Registration for the workshop takes place through the registration for the Career Day.
