Organic Synthesis with Nasty Gases – Application to Pharmaceutically Relevant Molecules

DRA lecture held by Professor Troels Skrydstrup, Department of Chemistry, Aarhus University

This lecture covers our continued efforts to develop and exploit surrogates of gaseous reagents in chemical synthesis, including carbon monoxide, hydrogen, ethylene, hydrogen cyanide and methanethiol. Examples will be illustrated for the synthesis of pharmaceutically relevant molecules.

The lecture is organised on behalf of the graduate programme in pharmaceutical sciences, Drug Research Academy, by Associate Professor Lennart Bunch, Department of Drug Design and Pharmacology, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen.

The DRA lecture is free of charge and open for attendance by all interested parties. It is not necessary to pre-register.
