Platforms for the generation and high-throughput screening of cyclic peptide libraries

DRA lecture held by Professor Ali Tavassoli, University of Southampton, United Kingdom

Professor Tavassoli is known for developing first-in-class cyclic peptide inhibitors using SICLOPPS, a genetically encoded high-throughput screening platform that allows cyclic peptide libraries of up to a hundred million members to be generated. Professor Tavassoli leads an interdisciplinary team at the forefront of chemistry and biology, specializing in targeting protein-protein interaction and developing biophysical and cellular assays.

The lecture is organised on behalf of the graduate programme in pharmaceutical sciences, Drug Research Academy, by Professor Kristian Strømgaard, Department of Drug Design and Pharmacology, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen.

The DRA lecture is free of charge and open for attendance by all interested parties. It is not necessary to pre-register.
